In a significant stride toward enriching public education, the Henry County Schools (HCS) officially inaugurated the Henry County Public Schools Foundation (HCPSF) on February 7, 2025. This new nonprofit entity is designed to provide philanthropic support intended to enhance educational outcomes and learning experiences for all students and staff within the district.

The establishment of the HCPSF is a cornerstone of HCS’s five-year strategic plan, which commenced in 2021. This plan was shaped through extensive community engagement efforts in 2019 and 2020. The Foundation’s inaugural Board of Trustees features a diverse group of dedicated individuals including retired educators, parents, and local business leaders, all committed to educational excellence. Holly Cobb, a former Board of Education member, was elected president, bringing a wealth of experience and community trust to her role. Alongside her, Marla Reddick serves as secretary, adding corporate insights from her experience at Coca-Cola.
